This old familiar phrase commonly used to remind a person to be present is the demise of creativity. Often times we're criticize for being lost in thought or using our imagination. What if, this imagination is the outlet needed to shield oneself from the perils of the world?
Why can't we live life like Harold? In theory, his purple crayon was his shield. Being lost in ones thought, isn't so bad at all. The idea of being born into the world with a set purpose and inherent value is the freeing. Much like your imagination, this ideology creates a barrier from being limited.
Let's pick up our purple crayons and keep drawing.
